Biscuits and Gravy – B&G

I recently saw this post on Pinterest.  What is Pinterest? Well, is it the best social site for pinning and saving all kinds of pictures and videos.  I, personally, am addicted to Pinterest. 

Anyways, Just the Bells 10 has 15.4k followers.  Her pins are great.

Cooking Food Is An Art

Cook time: 0 hours 45 minutes

Servings: 10 servings

Sausage

Cook sausage in a pot – do not drain. Remove sausage. 

Gravy:

Sausage juices

1 stick of butter

1 T salt

1 T black pepper

1 C flour

Melt butter in sausage juices and add spices and butter then cook until bubbly. (A paste forms)

2 C heavy whipping cream

2 C whole milk

Slowly add in the cream, then milk and stir until thickens.  Then add sausage to your gravy and stir

Biscuits:

2 C flour

1 T baking powder

1 T white sugar

1 tsp salt

Mix dry ingredients and then grate in

6 T frozen butter grated (Tip – use a rotary crank cheese grater)

Stir and then add

3/4 C cold milk

Knead the dough 6 times and roll out, cut with a glass, and bake at 425 for 12 minutes
